Position Description
We are seeking candidates for a data manager position. The data manager will be responsible for the design,
creation, configuration, management, maintenance, daily operation, security and performance of a research
database of agri-environmental data. This will be an accessible database of research data from numerous field
sites across Canada. Each site will be continuously (24/7, year-round) measuring 50+ variables with
environmental sensors. Researchers need the data organized and managed for individual research projects.
The accessible archive of data will be used by researchers outside of the organization and thus all information
in the database/warehouse/portal needs documentation for the correct interpretation of the data.
