Maurizio Comandone

Maurizio Comandone is a PhD student in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph focussing on reducing nitrous oxide emissions through Nitrogen Variable Rate Technology.

Maurizio works as a Data Manager for the Soil Core Project. In this role, he is responsible for designing, structuring, and implementing the new Soil Core database. Moreover, he is in charge of developing a new intuitive and informative, yet concise, naming schema for the directory tree, and migrating the old databases into a centralized server. With his data analysis and programming skills, Maurizio brings valuable knowledge on data architecture and data management to the team.

Maurizio holds a MSc degree in Plant Sciences at the Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands, and a BSc degree in Agricultural Science and Technology at the University of Turin, Italy.
