Luba Vasiluk

Luba is the Portfolio Manager for the Climate Smart-Data Collaboration Centre (Data Hub) and Project Manager at the University of Guelph, part of Genome Canada’s Climate-Smart Agriculture and Food Systems initiative. In her current role, she liaises between the Data Hub, KMIC Hub, and ICTs, overseeing budget administration, meeting coordination, and communications. She ensures smooth operations and manages the University of Guelph component of the DCC.

Luba holds a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from Simon Fraser University and completed her PostDoc Fellowship at the University of Guelph. With over 20 years of research and 15 years of project management experience, she specialized in environmental sciences, focusing on the bioavailability and bioaccessibility of trace elements in the soil-plant-human interface.
