Jaber Husiny

Jaber Husiny is a Research Associate with Agri-food Data Canada (ADC) and the Data Curator and Training Coordinator for CS-DCC. He is based at the University of Guelph (U of G). He has a MSc in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry from U of G, and his thesis focused on survival of winter wheat. In his work with ADC, he is responsible for creating standardized procedures for depositing data from various researchers into a common repository. This allows for data preservation and ease of access for students and researchers, in compliance with FAIR data standards. Jaber brings a strong background in the scientific process, project management, and teaching, along with a passion for food systems, agriculture, and data.
