Andrew Frewin

As Manager of Research Centre Data at the AIRO research centres, Andrew Frewin leads efforts to collect, organize, and provide access to research data for the University of Guelph and the wider research community.

Drawing on eight years in commercial ag‑tech, Andrew is dedicated to creating robust data systems that improve data quality and interoperability, to enhance research, drive innovation, and support on-farm decision making.

He earned his PhD and MSc at the University of Guelph, studying in the College of Biological Sciences and the School of Environmental Sciences.
