Backend-focused Software and Data Engineer with a Master of Data Science from the University of Guelph, having experience building secure, scalable backend systems for data-driven applications. He specializes in designing RESTful APIs with Node.js/Express, implementing authentication and authorization, and building reliable data services using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Most recently, he worked across analytics and research environments, building automated data pipelines, validation workflows, and reproducible reporting systems. He placed a strong emphasis on clean documentation and version-controlled delivery, enabling other teams to adopt and extend the work.

With a blend of backend engineering and data platform experience, he’s focused on building secure, interoperable services that make researcher-generated data easier to store, connect, and search at scale, aligning strongly with ADC’s goal of enabling FAIR, reusable agri-food research data.
